Case Studies

We have used Raw Film to illustrate the unique third sector service we provide.. They have managed to produce an innovative, beautifully filmed and sensitive piece of work. The company are young but very mature in outlook and a joy to work with. The film is a very important to our marketing and fundraising strategy and has already been recognised as an excellent piece of work.

I have had the pleasure of working with Agata and Michael from Raw Film on a very successful charity campaign, with an international dimension. We worked in Malawi and Scotland, and I cannot emphasise enough their professionalism and creativity. They will bring any project a wealth of experience, boundless energy and emotional intelligence all too often missing in peoples' work. They see things that others (including me) miss, and they will not stop until they have captured the essence of the subject, whether it is a community celebration in Scotland, or the life story of a disabled child in Africa. I love working with them and hope to do so again.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Agata and Michael for a number of years now. The quality of the films they have produced for us is exceptionally good. Raw Film are highly skilled professionals who have a great knack of interpreting complex project briefs and bringing them to life through film. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for future commissions and look forward to working with them again.

-  Jimmy O’Connell
Employer Engagement Manager, Developing the Young Workforce Edinburgh Midlothian and East Lothian

I am working with Raw Film for a second time and can not praise them enough. They are very easy to work with and always seem to know what I want before I do. I have really enjoyed working with them and find their films to really capture the essence of the theme involved. I have been delighted with their finished film and had excellent feedback from the local community. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending them.

Agata and Michael at Raw Film have produced some fantastic work for us at the Mental Welfare Commission. The nature of my organisation's business is such that we need to be empathetic, adaptable and aware of the personal commitment our interviewees give every time they volunteer to appear on film. They are experts at putting people at ease; they have the ability to engage with each person in a way that works for them. Raw Film also produces first class work, and delivers every project on time and to budget. Highly recommended.

-  Mary Mowat
Communications Manager, Mental Welfare Commission

I cannot rate Raw Film Productions highly enough. They are fantastic to work with - great at establishing real rapport with people (ranging from teenagers to the elderly as clients in my case), confident in suggesting creative ideas and thorough in attention to detail and producing top quality work on time. I was able to brief them and leave them to produce two top quality films . They consulted when necessary and delivered great films with minimum fuss. They manage to capture the spirit and values of the organisations and people they work with.
